The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards in preventive training have been developed by the main stakeholders and companies in the global wind industry, seeking to establish training norms for an improved safety and skilled workers that can deal with the various risks involved in their daily activity.
GWO BST – GWO BSTR
BASIC SAFETY TRAINING
What is BST?
The Basic Safety Training (BST) course consists of 4 training modules: heights, first aid, fires and manual handling of loads, which address the key safety issues in the wind energy sector.
The knowledge acquired from this training must be updated every 2 years, through the 4 modules included in the BSTR (Basic Safety Training Refresh) course, to maintain a valid BST certificate.
