Ism-ATEX is an ATEX skills certification framework that covers the training obligations under the UNE 60079-17, which is mandatory according to the complementary technical instruction ITC-BT-029 of the Low Voltage Regulation, establishing 2 application levels based on the type of work carried out by those to be certified:

Level 1. Technicians responsible for inspection and maintenance – electrical and mechanical, of ATEX equipment and installations.

Level 2. Managers or personnel with an executive function (heads of safety, maintenance, engineering, OHS, etc.).

COURSES Ism-ATEX LEVEL 1

The Ism.ATEX Level 1 (E/M) training is aimed at personnel working under the responsibility of an Authorised Person: fitters, machinists, maintenance operators, etc.

Level 1 training includes three possible courses: Electrical Option, Non-Electrical Option, and Electrical and Non-Electrical Option.

Level 2 training includes three possible courses: Electrical Option, Non-Electrical Option, and Electrical and Non-Electrical Option.
