Certified Training Electrical Risk & RD 614/2001

Online and In-Company

Spanish Law 31/1995 on the Prevention of Occupational Risks determines a set of guarantees and responsibilities to establish an adequate level of workers’ health protection against the risks arising from working conditions.

Thus, the minimum measures to be taken to ensure adequate protection for workers must be established by regulation standards. These include Royal Decree 614/2001, designed to ensure the protection of workers from electrical risk.

This Royal Decree applies to electrical installations in workplaces and to techniques and procedures for working on or in proximity to them.

Target staff:

1. Workers whose duties include the fitting, repair or maintenance of electrical installations.

2. Workers whose non-electrical activity is carried out in proximity to electrical installations with accessible live parts.

Electrical Risk COURSES

The various Electrical Risk courses focus on the minimum requirements for the protection of the workers’ health and safety from Electrical Risk according to RD 614/2001.

The Electrical Risk training includes three possible courses: a basic course for workers engaged in non-electrical activity, an 8-hour course for workers engaged in electrical activity in an electrical environment or in proximity to electrical installations, and a 16-hour course for workers engaged in activities in transformer stations.
