TELCO Standard Training
Basic OHS training for telecommunications
If you work in telecommunications, your first need to refresh your OHS training, i.e., learn the standards and preventive measures to work in a safe way. The TELCO training courses are intended to create an accident-free work environment, as well as to raise awareness of specific hazards and provide workers with safe procedures that will help them in emergency response.
What are these courses about?
This is a theoretical/practical training including exercises simulated in a real context, in a controlled space and environment.
What is a TELCO certificate and how long is it valid?
The TELCO Training project is a process of standardising OHS training requirements in the telecommunications industry. A Working Group, made up of operators and collaborating companies in the sector (including Yoigo, Telefónica, Vodafone, Orange, Cellnex, Axion, Ericsson, Euskaltel, Elecnor, Cobra, Nokia, Huawei…), has developed and agreed on a common training framework.
The TELCO certification is compulsory for all workers in the telecommunications industry since July 2018. The certificate is valid for three years.
